As predicted, today was an extremely chill day. Nick and I were both up much of the night feeling awful. We felt a bit better this morning but still weak and nauseous when upright. We have been sick way more than I expected we would be on this trip.

The cyclone hit at 3am last night but was not too bad. Just heavy rain and gusty wind. It continued to rain like this for the whole day, which was quite cozy.

The highlight of the morning was Millie setting up a painting studio while I attempted to choke down some coffee. She did two pictures. One of her kissing Nick this morning, and one where she posed me in a chair and then painted herself painting me in the chair.

As you can see by the very accurate painting, she didn’t get dressed all day long. After her breakfast and painting session, the movie marathon began. I fell asleep on and off for about 3 hours halfway through the day while she and Nick watched Freaky Friday, and then the sequel, and then Groundhog Day.

We had no appetite and she seemed to be eating for 3. Luckily we had the house stocked with healthy snacks.

The evening arrived sooner than we expected. We started a puzzle, did some reading, and then got her to bed. Hopefully tomorrow we will feel normal again.
